Spend The Night: La Guardia Hotel

"Your Mediterranean Escape"

You can see La Guardia Hotel on the coast as you arrive to the port, welcoming you with open arms. The rainbow of buildings that line the shore, lead you to the boutique hotel at the end of the road.

Once arriving it's only a three minute walk from the ferry to the hotel.  Flaminia Pérez del Castillo, owner and General Manager of the hotel, has really created an oasis on the water. Rooms overlook the harbor and sea, perfectly mixing minimalism with bohemian chic. The bright and airy rooms are accentuated with calming neutral tones, wooden and seagrass furnishings, and tall breezy grasses.

While staying here you wake up to the most stunning sunrises, as the sun emerges over Monte Argentario, and fall asleep to the sound of water lapping the shores outside your window.

Eat at Terrazza every morning. It's the perfect start to your day and may be one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. Dinner here is lovely as well. Enjoy your meal with a view of the harbor, and the sound of water lapping the shore below you.
